Application process

1. A dedicated authorisation expert will process your application and request any outstanding information
2. References are requested for each adviser - except the most recent
3. Arrangements are made for you to attend our induction course
4. Requests will be made for copies of company stationery for approval
5. Request will be made for the most up to date reference

The application will then be sent to the FSA and authorisation obtained, which normally takes seven working days. Following this we will confirm you are authorised through M&E and arrange for agencies to be opened.

A warm welcome

We’ll make sure the transition is as smooth as possible with support from our Customer Services and Training teams. We’ll set up agencies for you with product providers and you’ll receive ongoing support, with visits from the Training & Competence team. You’ll also have access to the member Extranet where you will find all the support you need to get started, from documents and sales aids through to pre-approved letters to send to your clients announcing your new status.
